Clearing storm at Blackney Passage
We dodged 5 knot currents pushing our way into Blackfish Sound and the eastern part of Queen Charlotte Strait.  We would anchor in Spout Bay for a peaceful evening after a day of running rapids and receiving a good soaking from the wind whipped rain. By day's end our dinghy had swallowed five gallons of rain water and towed with her nose quite high in the air. She swished to and fro on her brightly colored tow her nose so high and her tail so low. Dinghies can easily adopt a personality as they are always up to something deserving of attention.
