New Horizons
Perhaps it is fitting that our first evening revealed an ethereal scene on the horizon. On the water, one's gaze often turns to the horizon line.  It is there that new developing weather can be seen.  It is there in the distance that the future will first unfold. It is there that one may glimpse the coming of a new day or the retirement of the one in progress. The horizon is intimately connected to all of us. It is rare to view without  emotion. Hope of new light cast on old problems or trepidation of the coming darkness of night. And so our sail trip begins. Sailing into the sunset, as it were. Sailing into this first night and on into a new day feeling the exhilaration of sailing toward new horizons.
