Trincomali Channel
Austin captured this image of the breaking weather at sunset while navigating the apposing current on our approach to Dodd. We had to reach Dodd by slack tide at 11:34 pm.  That goal seemed a long shot a few hours earlier but taking the west side of Wallace Island avoided the ebbing current pushing in from Porlier Pass and seemed it would give us the break we needed. Meanwhile,  I was catching a nap below in the forward berth with confidence the better navigator was now at the helm. I would need the sleep as we finally made Strait of Georgia in the wee hours of the morning.
